If we should look upon each other including ourselves, members of our families, our friends, neighbors and others, to our great surprise we would see that all of us , with no exception, have one or another form of deformation of spinal column and a chest (costal humpback). Expressiveness of a deformation among different people varies considerably and depends upon the mode of life, profession, regime of labor, age, etc.
The complains are extremely various: headaches, mainly located from one side of the head, dizziness, weakening of hearing and eyesight, vegetative-vascular disorders, sense of numbness in arms and legs, aches in different parts of vertebral column, rapid physic and physical fatiguability, the presence of radicular pain in a heart, stomach, kidneys and other organs.
What is very important that the development of a deformation of a spinal column in childhood practically has no symptoms and, as a result, a doctor meets not a child, but a youngster or even a grown up person, when patient already has clear symptoms of a pathological deformation of a spinal column and symptoms of internal diseases which developed as a consequence of such a deformation.
Many years of Prof. V.Serdyuk`s investigations were dedicated to the problem of origin of spinal pathology, including scoliosis deformation, pain syndrome etc. and their link with internal organs pathology. Those clinical and anatomical investigations led Prof.V.Serdyuk to scientific discovery, entitled "Regularity of development of internal diseases in adult patients as a consequence of deformation of spinal column, which started in the early childhood"- diploma ¹ 1 (Ukrainian Academy of Original Ideas), dated December 1, 1995.
On the basis of newly worked theory of development of scoliosis deformation Dr.Med.Prof.V.Serdyuk have worked out a complex of diagnostic, treatment and prophylactic measures for successful non-surgical treatment of scoliosis deformation as well as diseases linked with it:
- Eyesight pathology (squint, astigmatism, amblyopia, myopia-shortsightedness);
- Heart pathology (heart pain, arrhythmia, bradicardia, etc.);
- Hyper function of thyroid gland (thyrotoxicosis), vegetative - vascular dystonia;
- Migraine (sick headache);

During examination in Kiev hospital cyst of the left ovarium was diagnosed, what was an explanation of high level of estrogens. Pain in lower limbs. With a help of ultra-sound diagnostics it was found that the ovarium cyst had disappeared. The level of estrogens is normal. No complains.
